About the project
Building Climate-Resilient Rural Futures
NURISH is a Horizon Europe project designed to strengthen climate resilience in rural and small urban communities across various climate-affected European territories. Rural areas cover 83% of the EU and host around 140 million people.

Key Objectives
What is NURISH?
NURISH is a pioneering Horizon Europe project dedicated to building regenerative and climate-resilient rural communities across Europe. We work with four Resilience Hubs and five Resilience Nodes to develop and implement Nature-based Solutions that address the unique climate challenges facing rural areas.
Through our innovative frameworks—the Regenerative Rural Resilience Framework (RRRF) and the Reapplication Framework (RAF)—we’re creating sustainable pathways for rural communities to adapt, thrive, and lead in the face of climate change.
